I love it! I've often wondered how some husbands (or wives) can expect you to hear them yelling from the other side of the house, yet not "hear" their spouse when in the same room ;)

Too funny! I can face a snake (or a cockroach), but put a spider in front of me and I'll fall apart. I once had a black widow spin down and land on the toe of my slipper. I tried to kick it off, but of course by that time the web was attached to the slipper. Isn't it called hysteria when you laugh and cry at the same time? Ick! But your idea is brilliant, so good luck with it.

I thought I couldn't have the house sprayed when we first moved to TX, too. But when flying cockroaches were landing on my kids' faces at night, in their beds, I signed up. I've been having bug people come every 3 months for about 30 years now. Kids and pets are fine! The only cockroach I ever see now is a dead one.

But I do love spiders. We were overrun when we first moved into this house, before the bug people came. I scooped them up in margarine tubs and carried them outside. I like lots of kinds of bugs, but not cockroaches!

HI Cathy! Thanks for stopping by! I usually just annoy people, so I'm glad you got a perk-up today! You might also find my Lalla Bains books a fun read. They're on Kindle @$.99 and if you don't have a kindle, I have a two-fer offer here at my website. www.rpdahlke.com
